The forum was established in 2011 under the name of Swindon Older Peoples Forum (SOPF).
In 2011 David Brown, representing the retired community service volunteers, and Carol Brownlee, representing Swindon Walcot and Parks Community Group,
were invited to the South West Seniors Forum conference in Taunton.
decided that nothing like this was going on in Swindon,
so they came back to Swindon and
decided they would try to set up
something along similar lines.

travel, housing and universal benefits.
If you would wish to be updated on any of the above issues via our website please let us know to ensure that this website remains relevant to you.
The Management Committee would encourage your active participation in our future open meetings and events and we very much look forward to meeting you.
